There were many internet reports that an extraordinary record was set on India on February 06, 2012 where an Indian Woman delivered 11 babies at once. The event took place on an Indian Hospital where she gave birth to 11 healthy baby boys.
Though there were no actual evidence of this incident, the news spread on the world wide web like a virus. The viral pics and news spread on famous social sites such as Facebook and other online Forums.
Pictures of this incident flooded wall posts and other threads on the internet creating a controversy on the virtual world. Thousands and counting were amazed and shock with the incident.
According to one source that the actual story was that it was on a special day on November 11, 2011 or 11/11/11, where 11 women had conceived 11 healthy babies through IVF (Invitro fertilization-Test Tube Baby Treatment), at 21st Century Hospital & Test Tube Baby Centre which was located at Surat, Gujarat, INDIA. The babies were delivered by elective caesarian section performed by 4 famous doctors: Dr. Purnima Nadkarni, Dr. Pooja Nadkarni, Dr. Aditi Nadkarni and Dr. Kishore Nadkarni. In all 11 babies delivered from 10 different mothers, it consists of 9 singleton pregnancies and 2 twins. This is the “World Record” for the date and all were test tube babies.
